#this really irks me #because yes it appears that Daesung is being cool in this situation #but in reality it is a type of self-degrading sarcasm concerning the opinion of his outer appearance #the fact that the question was posed to him like this is cause for upset #the fact that the question was posed to him like this is cause for upset #because throughout his entire career he has had to live with this stigma#he and others have stated in blunt and not-so-blunt words that he is not good looking #i blame his lack of confidence in his appearance to all these bitches who have treated him like this #as just a vocal of the group and nothing more #who are you to say or judge what is attractive? #just because he isn’t the cut-out mold of beauty that you’re used to touting around does not make him any less attractive#and you know what else #Daesung is a GQMF #but more importantly than that he is a /damn/ good human being #and that above all else is what is /truly/ important
because i read becca’s tags and also this reminds me of the most recent ep of Strong Heart for the YG Fam special and Seunggi asked if YG judges looks and addressed Daesung first to which Dae had responded not to look at him and pointed to everyone else.
All of that up there. It’s not even funny anymore.

now i can’t help but see him as some kind of disgruntled office employee out on his coffee break, all bitter because they banned smoking and so he has to eat a fucking apple instead. especially in that third gif, where it looks like he’s almost spitting it out. ‘ECH. BLURGH. AUGH.’ and then in the fourth gif ‘i am going to murder my boss’.
